I just made an Animoto video of monopole motor construction in my electricity class. I grade these things on a pass/fail basis and we had reached the last day of 5 for building these. It was looking bleak then like magic, the bulbs flickered on and all the groups put it together in the nick of time. More progress in one hour than the previous 4 combined. Proud of this and proud of the boy's efforts.
If it weren't so out of place I think we all wanted to let out a guttural "Yalp! I made this!!!!!" They settled for a stick of gum instead.
Great job on your project. You must be very proud of your students. They rose to the challenge and were able to be successful! It is fabulous you were able to capture their passion and drive to learn, their motivation to be successful, and then capturing success! The balance of text, photos, and narrated video that make the project interesting to watch and easy to understand.
